LUMIÈRE The Interactive Album

Everything the print album couldn’t hold.

The interactive album is the digital half of the one on your coffee table. The same designed spreads, gathered together with every photograph that didn’t make the edit and every film we made. One address. One passcode. Small enough to live on your phone.

Open it on a train. Open it in ten years.

Turn it. Chapter plates from a four-day wedding — a single-day album turns exactly the same way, with fewer chapters.

What’s inside

Made to be opened often.

One place
Every event, in the order it happened, under a single address. Nothing to download. Nothing to piece back together.
Your passcode
The album stays sealed until you open it, and your code unlocks it in your own browser. No one holds a key to your wedding but you. No account to make. Nothing to forget.
Films where they belong
Your films play inside the story rather than on somebody else’s website. No second link to keep track of. No advertisement before your first look.
The photographs that didn’t fit
Every frame the printed spreads couldn’t hold is still here, gathered into sets you swipe through, right where that part of the day lives.
Read it your way
One spread at a time, the way you turn pages. Or a single unbroken column. The control above is the real one — try it.
It comes with you
Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app. Once it has loaded, it keeps working without a signal.

One day, or four

It takes the shape of your wedding.

A Saturday in a garden is one story, told once, start to finish. A South Asian wedding that runs four days is seven stories, each kept whole. The album is built either way, from the same pieces — nothing padded to fill chapters it doesn’t have, nothing folded together to save room.

A single day

  • Getting ready through the last song, in one unbroken run
  • Your designed spreads, with the full gallery beside them
  • Your film where the day arrives at it

Days of celebration

  • A chapter for every function — Mendhi, Pithi, Sangeet, Baraat, the ceremony, the reception
  • Each one kept separate, in the order it happened, never merged to tidy things up
  • Every film from every night, in its own event

One recent wedding

Four days. Seven celebrations.

Delivered first as seven separate files, each one too heavy to open on a phone. Gathered into a single album, it comes to this. A one-day wedding lands nearer a hundred spreads and a single film — the album is untroubled either way.

How it is made

Three steps. None of them yours.

We start with what we already have

Your designed spreads. Your films, graded. The folders we sorted the week we photographed you. Nothing gets renamed, re-sorted, or asked of you a second time.

We build it, then seal it

Every photograph is rewritten at four sizes, so it arrives the instant you tap and stays sharp on a large screen. Then the album is encrypted against your passcode — before it ever leaves us.

You get a link and a code

That is the whole handover. It opens on a phone, a tablet, a laptop. Two taps and it lives on your home screen, next to everything else you keep close.

The heirloom

And one copy that is simply yours.

A drive, in a box. The same album, with the films at full resolution rather than the versions made for the web. It opens by double-clicking, the way a print doesn’t need anything to be a print. Keep it on a shelf. Give one to your parents. Put one away with the wedding certificate.

  • Opens on any Mac or PC, with a signal or without one
  • Films at full resolution, not compressed for streaming
  • Nothing to install, nothing to sign into
  • Yours outright, the way a print album is yours

A drive is a computer thing — phones and tablets read the album on your home screen instead. Most couples keep both.
